Knit One North has a new knitting instructor, Heidi. Heidi's Fair Ssle sweater design was published in the Winter '01/'02 issue of Interweave Knits. She will be offering a variety of classes. With one sweater under my belt, I personally am very excited about her Design Your Own Sweater class that she will be offering soon. Dawne recently completed the Central Park Hoodie but she was not satisfied with the length of her sleeves--they were too long. Heidi gave Dawne a lesson in Steeking. To shorten the sleeves, together they cut off about 5 inches of the sleeve and picked up the stitches so the ribbing can be re-knit.
