I finished the Hobo Bag designed by champagne maker. It is beautiful. The pattern and the yarn are both available at Knit One. I used Cascade 220 but any worsted will do. It makes a great bag for your knitting projects.








We also are still collecting survey results but already have implemented some of your suggestions. Here is a class I would like to feature from Knit One in Mars. It is a Raglan Toddler Tunic and is being taught by Isobel. This is a baby sweater with no seams and minimal finishing. Two skeins of Cascade 220, and a free pattern were used to create this sweet little raglan tunic, suitable for most two year olds. After knitting the sweater, you will have enough yarn left to knit the matching hat with either a pompom or an I-cord trim finish. If you are interested in taking it, call the Mars store at 724-625-6667.

President Obama & the Pittsburgh Steelers

I found a new group in Ravelry that asked the question "What can one person accomplish in 100 days? " This is based on the President's first 100 days in office. What would you like to accomplish in the next 100 days? Is there something new you want to learn? Unfinished projects that you would like to finish? Please let us know!


I found this pattern to create a sweater with President Obama on it. Check it out at http://www.laurabirek.com/pattern-downloads.php. Even if you don't want to make the sweater, you could use the chart to put his picture on any other knit item.
