Steeler's Sale!

Hope everyone is looking forward to the big game on Sunday. To celebrate the game, come visit either Knit One shop on Sunday February 1 between the hours of 12-4 wearing either a Steelers T-shirt, sweatshirt, or carrying a Terrible Towel and you will receive 15% off your purchase. (This does not include sale items or special orders). Go Steelers!!!

I finished the Hobo Bag designed by champagne maker. It is beautiful. The pattern and the yarn are both available at Knit One. I used Cascade 220 but any worsted will do. It makes a great bag for your knitting projects.

We also are still collecting survey results but already have implemented some of your suggestions. One that you will notice when you are at the website (http://www.knitone.biz/) is there is a link to the archieved newsletters. Everyone loves reading Stacey's newsletters when they receive them but wanted a way to go back to prior newsletters. This archive link (http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs074/1102033705787/archive/1102432930203.html) will take you there. All of the newsletters from November 08 to the current newsletter are available.

If you have not yet completed the survey, please take a minute to do so. Here is the link for the survey: http://freeonlinesurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=28eweepsjrgbzp0536707

Here is a class I would like to feature from Knit One in Mars. It is a Raglan Toddler Tunic and is being taught by Isobel. This is a baby sweater with no seams and minimal finishing. Two skeins of Cascade 220, and a free pattern were used to create this sweet little raglan tunic, suitable for most two year olds. After knitting the sweater, you will have enough yarn left to knit the matching hat with either a pompom or an I-cord trim finish. If you are interested in taking it, call the Mars store at 724-625-6667.

Patterns:

Here is a link for a sock pattern. It is for fake argyle socks done in DK weight yarn. http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter08/PATTfargyles.php. They will work up really quick.

Here is a cute baby hat called Twissels. It has cables and tassels. Here is the link: http://rms-ravelingmysensibility.blogspot.com/2009/01/twissels.html

Happy Knitting!
Celeste
